Magyarszombatfa is located in the southernmost point of Vas County, in Őrség, only 2 km from the Slovenian border. Magyarszombatfa is called “ the pottery village” that preserves beautiful natural values too. Magyarszombatfa is ideal for those , who want to relax and unwind away from the noise of the city. You can easily join to the Sárgalililom nature trail not far from our guesthouse. The settlement is also an excellent stopover for completing the Blue tour.

The Magyarszombatfa Pottery was added to the National Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2015. Several potter’s workshops can be found and visited in the settlement, and the Ceramics Factory and Visitor Center are also available to visitors.
